‘The venues’ refers to the community spaces where classes and workshops take place.
Cancellation Policy
Weekly Classes
Weekly classes are paid for in advance on a half termly basis. In the event of the teacher cancelling a class, students will be offered an alternative class (which may be on Zoom) or a refund, whichever is preferable. The student can also request that a credit is applied to their next half term of classes if they wish. This applies to both inperson and Zoom classes.
In the event of a student being unable to continue classes as a result of a medical emergency or extreme personal circumstances, payments for classes will be refunded in full.
Workshops
In the event of the teacher cancelling a workshop students will be offered a full refund.
If a workshop place is cancelled 28 days or more before the workshop, fees will be fully refunded. If a place is cancelled within 14 days a 50% refund will be provided, after this time places will be nonrefundable unless in extreme circumstances
Health Questionnaire
All students must complete a confidential health questionnaire before enrolling in weekly classes, or a workshop. The teacher will email this to students in advance.
Fees and Payment
Information about class and workshop fees is displayed on the Classes page and Events page on the website.
Spaces in classes and workshops are only confirmed when full payment is received.
Booking Policy
All classes and workshops must be pre booked and paid for in advance.
Weekly classes are paid for in advance on a half termly basis, places are non transferable.
Workshops are standalone events – when necessary, places can be transferred in advance and in consultation with the teacher
Class & Workshop Times
All Class/workshop times will be available on the website.
All classes/workshops will start on time. The teacher reserves the right to refuse entry to any clients who arrive for the session after it has started. This can cause disruption to the other clients, and it may also be unsafe, for example, if you have missed the warm up.
Severe Weather Plans
In the event of severe weather making travel to classes unsafe, the teacher reserves the right to teach classes online via Zoom. Students will be notified by email at least 2 hours prior to a class if the class is to be moved online.
Dress Code and Conduct
Students are advised to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the class or workshop to find a space, and to notify the teacher of any unreported injuries or health concerns.
Footwear should be removed at the doorway of the venues whenever possible.
Students should wear comfortable clothing they can move in which is appropriate for their yoga practice. Students are advised to practise on a non slip mat and in bare feet whenever possible.
Whenever possible, students should turn off mobile phones, or switch them to a silent setting to avoid disruption.
Abusive, offensive or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated at any time. This includes and is not limited to, any communication via telephone, email, social media or in person. Any person exhibiting such behaviour will be asked to leave immediately and.in such circumstances, no refunds will be payable.
The teacher reserves the right to refuse future entry to any person who has behaved in an abusive offensive or threatening manner.
