I've been attending Vivien's yoga classes for over 10 years and I absolutely love them. Her instructions are clear and encouraging and she is very accommodating of my injuries. I keep discovering things about my body - even after all these years. These classes are one of the best things that I do for myself. Vivien is a wonderful teacher and I wholeheartedly recommend her classes.

Vivien is an excellent yoga teacher. She thinks carefully about the themes for her classes, which are always linked to our natural cycles related to the seasons. She gently eases us into postures, knowing exactly which parts of our body will be challenged and which parts we can soften. Breathing is central and the whole experience is relaxing. I have been going to Vivien's classes for several years now and feel like I am part of a yogi community. Each class is warm and wecoming, and feels like therapy for my mind and body.

I’ve been enjoying weekly yoga sessions with Vivien for eight years or more and I still very much look forward to each one. It’s a time of mental and physical focus and is a pause to re-set in a busy week.
Vivien is an excellent teacher, very mindful of everyone working from where they happen to be starting on that day. Classes are very inclusive and welcoming. Vivien’s classes aren’t rapid movement exercise sessions, they are much more powerful than that. It’s up to each person how challenged or easeful they want to be at any time and Vivien actively helps with that.
Stockleigh Pomeroy village hall is a very lovely venue.

I attended Vivien’s monthly Rest and Restore class by zoom for the fist time on Wednesday evening and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to practice some restorative yoga in the comfort of their own home. Once signed up to the monthly class, you will receive a video of the session to use as often as you wish for a month, until the next Zoom class.
I already attend a weekly in person class with Vivien so the R&R class was a very welcome addition which I will be doing again in October.
Vivien is professional, supportive, friendly, caring and tailors all postures to meet the needs of individuals. She gives clear instructions and guidance and offers a range of options for attending her classes: in-person, Zoom and pre-recorded video if you can’t attend in person.
Classes are held in Stockleigh Pomeroy Village Hall which is airy, comfortable and has great facilities - the views are amazing.
I highly recommend Vivien’s Yoga for Life classes.

I have been attending Vivien’s yoga classes for nearly five years, and through them I am always learning and appreciating the value and importance of being open to my experience on the mat, each and every time. Vivien teaches yoga with a deep knowledge and wisdom that is readily adapted to support each person’s requirements, whilst also attending to the group and holding space to practise. I have found Vivien’s approach really supportive in helping me attune to and work with my body and mind, as it is, in each particular moment, and feel that my practice has deepened over the years. Vivien creates a safe haven to practise in, and I always feel the benefits whilst practising and immediately after class, as well as in life off the mat too. Vivien teaches with such ease, care, authenticity, friendliness and warmth - if you are considering joining, just go for it!

Vivien tailors each class to the needs of the class. She also introduces the ancient principles of yoga in an natural way that is easy to understand. She always provides a friendly and fun environment. Namaste, Vivien.

Always look forward to my yoga class with Vivien. A friend bought me a one to one lesson as a present a few years ago & I am so pleased that she did. The classes are so warm & friendly. There’s no pressure & Vivien is an excellent teacher who tailors her instruction to each individual student. I have benefited both mentally & physically since taking up yoga & would recommend it to anyone.

Vivian shows you how to integrate mind, body and breath, how to understand yourself better. To understand what you used to do automatically. She is into ancient wisdom and calm in a busy world. There is no perfect posture, only the best one for you.

Vivien demystified yoga for me and helped me build a regular practice which has sustained me through good times and bad. She is such a welcoming, engaging and sensitive teacher, always starting with where you are yourself in terms of mood, fitness and health, then encouraging you to explore and question your boundaries. The focus on breathing and its importance in well-being was a revelation to me. I've experienced Vivien's classes on a one to one basis as well as live and online and would recommend all forms of class she offers, depending on your needs and the time available.

I have attended Vivien’s classes for 12 years + including 1-1 sessions, face to face classes, workshops and weekly online sessions. Vivien is a thoughtful, skilful and responsive teacher who is amazingly able to tailor classes to individual needs. Now in my early 70’s I find the classes easily fit my increasing need to maintain strength and balance in my older age. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and my consultant was positive about my recovery partly due to a body strengthened by years of yoga practice.
Many of my fellow attendees have been with Vivien for the 14 years + she has been in Devon I think that speaks for itself
